Trivia[]

  • This dub was created due to Lupita Pérez Arias, the singing voice of Aurora in the 1959 dub, suing Disney for royalties of her voice being used.
  • Like with the previous dub, it is used all Spanish-speaking territories.
  • The dub was re-recorded by the same cast for the Blu-Ray release as the dub had to be recorded in 7.1 sound whereas the original 2001 version of the dub was only recorded in 5.1 sound. Also, Maleficent's lines were redone as they were deemed controversial.
    • As such, the 2008 version of the dub has been used on all releases from that point onwards, as only 2001 releases contain the original version of the dub.
