Trivia[]
- Although Salma Hayek speaks Spanish, she did not dub herself, as she has done in other animated productions. She was dubbed by Verónica López Treviño, her regular voice actress.
- In English, Brenda says goodbye to Salma Hayek 's character (who represents a Mexican) by saying "Hola", believing that that means goodbye in Spanish. In the dub, she calls him "Quiubo", a colloquial word used in several Latin American countries to greet each other, possibly incomprehensible in some countries.
- Because several of the characters' names are puns referring to food or its characteristics, several of these names were adapted in the dubbing. However, far from just translating the names, several of these were "Latin Americanized", as is the case of Brenda Bollíguez (referring to "Bollo" and "Rodríguez").
- Sony Pictures released the film subtitled and dubbed in Latin America. However, because they did not decide to dub before deciding to release the film in October 2016, the dubbing was rushed and is not included on the film's DVD and Blu-Ray.
- It is the second animated film distributed by Sony Pictures and the dubbing is directed by Xóchitl Ugarte where Raúl Anaya and Ricardo Tejedo play the protagonist and the villain. The first time was in ¡Piratas! Una loca aventura
- On Netflix, it only has French and Brazilian Portuguese dubbing credits.
