- Daniel Scott, who was the Musical director of the animated movie, returned in this remake to direct the songs again.
- Dominique Faure, part of the choir, was the singing voice of Ariel in the Canadian French dub of the animated movie in 1989.
- Marie-Ève Sansfaçon, part of the additional voices, was the voice of Ariel in Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018).
- Like in several other dubs of the film, Catherine Brunet (Scuttle) had previously dubbed Awkwafina in Raya and the Last Dragon as Sisu.
- As there is no Canadian French soundtrack, the track titles for "Eric's Decision", "Vanessa's Trick" and "Ariel Regains Her Voice" are retained from the European French soundtrack.
- While Grimsby was originally called Amédée in the animated movie, he's called Grimsby in this adaptation. However, during a scene between the Queen and Grimsby after Ariel and Eric's escapade, the Queen mistakenly calls him "Amédée".
