Trivia:[]
- This dubbing was panned by the Spanish audience and critics alike. After the disastrous sales of this dubbing in VHS and DVDs, the sequel "The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea" was not dubbed, and Spain used the Latin Spanish dubbing instead.
- Nacho Aldeguer, the voice of Flounder, is the son of Salvador Aldeguer, voice of Flotsam & Jetsam.
- Miguel Ángel Jenner also voiced the role of Chef Louis in the La Petite Sirène dub of the movie.
- Santiago Aguirre, the Musical director, and María Caneda, the singing voice of Ariel, are married in real life.
- Just like Aladdin, the European Spanish lyrics of the songs were mostly based upon the Latin Spanish lyrics. Consequently, some lines are the same in both versions.
