Las mil y una noches is the Latin American Spanish dub of Binbir Gece. This dub was produced given the great success that the Turkish soap opera had had in its broadcast in MENA with its Arabic dub, also achieving unprecedented success in Latin America, thus being the first of many Turkish productions that would be exported and dubbed into the Spanish language. Initially, the soap opera premiered in Chile on the Mega channel, resulting in a great and unexpected success, which would be replicated in much of Latin America, where the series has continued to be rebroadcast even in the 2020s.
For broadcast in the USA and on the MundoFox channel, it was decided to commission a small redub of the voice of the protagonist Onur (Halit Ergenç), replacing the voice of the Chilean dubbing actor Andrés Skoknic with that of the Mexican-Argentinian actor René Sagastume due to the subsequent success of the Turkish series Muhteşem Yüzyıl, also starring Halit Ergenç, leaving the rest of the Chilean dub intact.

Trivia[]
- Although the dub is produced in the Latin American dialect of Spanish, certain phrases and idioms from Chile were included by decision of the Mega channel, which commissioned the dub. These would remain intact when broadcast in other Latin American countries.
- The episodes was released in Chile almost parallel to its dubbing, although there was a time when there were more dubbed episodes than those released.
- The series was dubbed in Chile, motivated by the great success that the production had in its broadcast in MENA, with its dub into Syrian Arabic, thus being announced as "a new series, which was a success in the Middle East."
