Notes[]

  • Although almost the entire series was dubbed at Audio Post, Cartoon Network Latin America bumpers of the series were dubbed at Candiani Dubbing Studios, like the other CN series of that time.
  • When the first official season of the series premiered in Latin America, Cartoon Network broadcast the three shorts of each episode in a very different order and way than they broadcast them in the United States, combining two shorts from the series with a short from the recently released series. independent of Malo con carne (released in the U.S. at the time of Billy and Mandy) in a similar way to Grim & Evil. The union of shorts from both titles meant that the season had a common duration of thirteen weeks (unlike the 9 weeks that it lasted in the US) and in Latin America the season was never broadcast in the original order that it had in the US.
  • Alan Fernando Velázquez did not continue dubbing Billy in the series because his participation in the fourth generation of the reality show La Academia led to isolation due to the program's regulations, so he could not go to the recordings. However, once his participation ended, he continued playing Billy in Cartoon Network promos dubbed in Candiani at the channel's request.
  • Alejandro Vargas Lugo played Puro Hueso until season 5 due to his move to San Antonio, Texas for work reasons.
    • For the sixth season, the possibility of Vargas continuing to dub Puro Hueso from the New Age studio in Texas was contemplated, however, because at that time Audiopost did not have the appropriate technology to record remotely, this was not possible. could specify.
  • Roberto Molina stopped directing the series in season 5 due to divergences with Audio Post, being replaced in the direction by Rolando de Castro, in the inserts by Dafnis Fernández and different actors in some characters he previously played.
    • Gerardo Vásquez originally voiced Puro Hueso in season 6, replacing Vargas Lugo. However, some time after the episodes were broadcast, Turner was not satisfied with the result, so after ending their association with Audio Post, it hired the DAT Dubbing Audio Translation studio and reinstated Roberto Molina as the dubbing director.
      • After casting with some actors, Molina himself recorded a dialogue of the character with an interpretation close to that of Vargas Lugo, which ended up convincing the client and he was chosen as the new voicw of Puro Hueso.
  • Alan mentioned that after dubbing the first chapters, he was inspired by a neighbor he had to create Billy's laugh, which was different in the original version. Director Roberto Molina decided to implement it and later told him that the client liked it so much that he asked the original voice actor in English to do that laugh.
