Les Mélodilous is the French dub of The Backyardigans. It has previously aired on France 5, Nickelodeon Junior, Piwi+ and Télé-Québec; it is available on Netflix in Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

- The title is a portmanteau of the terms "melodie" (melody) and "filous" (playful children).
- Initially, total broadcast rights were acquired only by France 5, under licence from Nelvana, for the first three seasons. In 2010, Nickelodeon acquired the rights to broadcast the show for their Nickelodeon Junior channel. They debuted the fourth season, which, now under ownership of Nickelodeon, has the Nickelodeon logo on the title card; previously, since the last three seasons were owned by France 5, the title card did not feature the Nick Jr. logo.
- The fourth season is the only season to have been recorded with the original NTSC backing track.
- Nelvana, themselves, interpreted and localized the scripts for the episodes.
- This is the first dub to have its fourth season be originally localized in the 16:9 HD aspect ratio.
- The entirety of the fourth season has been released on iTunes, as well as compilations combining episodes from the first 3 seasons.
