Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har is an American animated series by Hanna-Barbera that was featured as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series, and ran from September 3, 1962 to August 26, 1963.

The series focuses on Lippy, a zippy, happy-go-lucky lion always looking for action, and Hardy Har Har, a hangdog, hapless hyena who never laughs, both voiced by Daws Butler and Mel Blanc, respectively. Constantly on the lookout for the next big score, the always-optimistic Lippy leads skeptical Hardy into a multitude of misadventures despite Hardy’s “worry-wartin’.” Lippy’s all sunny-side up, while Hardy’s trademark refrain of “oh dear, oh my” provides the comic counterpoint to all of their extraordinary exploits, which travel from the Wild West and deserted isles to country clubs and race tracks. No matter the time or the place, you can count on these two to maneuver into desperate danger each and every time!
