Trivia[]

  • The direction for this dub was managed by Mario Castañeda, who usually dubs Jim Carrey. However, on this occasion, he did not voice any of the characters played by the actor, except for a few interviews given by Jim Carrey regarding the film. His son, Arturo Castañeda, voiced one of the characters portrayed by Carrey, which was the teenage version of Ebenezer Scrooge.
    • The phrase "God bless us all" was translated directly as "Blessings" because, at that time, Disney removed religious references from their dubs.
  • Jesse Conde’s performance in this film earned him the 2011 Bravo Award for Best Animated Film Voice Actor of 2009.
  • The song that plays at the beginning of the credits, "Dios Nos Bendecirá" by Andrea Bocelli, was sung in Spanish by Bocelli himself. This Spanish version of the song is included in Bocelli’s Christmas album "Mi Navidad," which also features other songs by the artist in Spanish.
