Louise Lives Large is an Irish-Canadian-Belgian[2] live-action comedy-drama television series created and written by Carol Walsh. Produced by Tailored Films and Storyhouse, the series debuted on RTÉ2 and Family Channel in Canada on April 3, 2024 at 4pm and 7pm respectively.[3] The full series was later released on RTÉ Player on April 10. It was originally planned to premiere on Ketnet in Belgium in Fall 2024, but got delayed to May 2025.
The series follows the inspiring journey of newly cancer-free teen Louise Edgar as she embarks on a mission to make up for lost time, completing the items on her "Live Large List". With the help of her new pal and school outsider, Jess, Louise starts to tackle her list one item at a time and, whether experiencing triumphs or setbacks, she truly starts to live large.
