Lupin, l'incorreggibile Lupin is one of two Italian dubs of ルパン三世 PARTIII. It is the first Italian dub of the series and premiered on Italia 1 on January 12, 1987.

When the series was originally dubbed into Italian, the series was censored with some episodes edited to the point of not making sense. This was due to that RTI had the rights to the series and while much of the content was not suitable for children such as nudity and heavy violence, some decisions affected the plotlines for no given reason. Romantic gestures were also censored or removed.

- This dub uses a completely different opening theme called "Lupin, l'incorreggibile Lupin" written by Alessandra Valeri Manera and Ninni Carucci and sung by a fictional music group called "Gli Amici di Lupin" (The friends of Lupin), which is composed by Enzo Draghi (vocals) and Simone D'Andrea (Sei furbo Lupin! line).
- Oddly enough, a shortened version of the song was also the basis of the Captain Tsubasa opening theme songs in France, Spain and Portugal with the same instrumental but with different lyrics. This is because of RTI licensing said show in those territories at that time.
- In Boing airings of the series, the original opening theme was replaced with "Hallo Lupin" by Giorgio Vanni [1].
- However, the original opening theme was retrained in the credits.
