Notes[]
- "Cagliostro" is mentioned several times in reference to the count and his castle.
- However, the title of this dub was adapted to "El castillo de los falsificadores", thus omitting "Cagliostro" from it.
- The translation was based on the first English subtitled version made for TMS Entertainment, with some slight changes.
- Therefore, Inspector Zenigata is called Inspector "Cott".
- Fujiko's name is changed to "Rosario", based on the name "Rosarie".
- Goemon uses a stereotypical Japanese accent of the time.
- This dub was made solely for the Cuban market.
- Possibly for this reason it has certain editing changes, because this version used a different master than the Japanese original.
- The film was broadcast for the first time in Cuban cinemas on April 7, 1983.
- The film was rebroadcast in Cuban cinemas, at the Acapulco film culture center, on Sunday at 2:30 pm, July 16, 2023.
- In addition, the movie had 2 broadcasts on two Cuban TV channels.
- On February 9, 2021, on Canal Habana and on January 14, 2024, on Cubavisíon.
