Márcio Simões

Márcio Simões (born March 16, 1962) is a Brazilian actor, singer, voice actor and dubbing director, who is one of the most iconic actors amongst that region of the dubbing world.

After graduating in civil engineering, yet never practicing it, and seeking out several other professions (including as a guitarist), Simões started his voice acting career in radio. It wouldn't be until around 1986 when he was recommended to become a dubbing actor, which he would mainly serve as ever since. Some of Simões' best known roles in Brazil include Daffy Duck and Sylvester in Looney Tunes, Genie in the Aladdin franchise, Hades in the Hercules franchise, and Stitch in the Lilo & Stitch franchise; he's also the official voice for several popular actors, including Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes, Ralph Fiennes, and Patrick Stewart. Simões is well-regarded for his wide range of tones, from cartoonish to deep-sounding voices.
