Trivia[]
- María Fernanda Morales played the same character in both dubs.
- Gaby Ugarte participated in both dubbings but with different characters. In this version she had to dub the character of Amanda.
- In a scene in the dub, Harry Wormwood hums The Simpsons theme song; Curiously, Humberto Vélez voices both Harry and Homer Simpson.
- A dialogue by Trunchbull is changed when he accuses Matilda of putting a salamander in her water jug and tells her that she is right, he tells her "In this classroom, in this school, I am God!" was changed to "¿Me equivoco? Nunca me equivoco. ¿Ves este salón? ¿Ves todo esto? ¡Aquí solo mando yo!" (Am I wrong? I'm never wrong. Do you see this room? Do you see all this? I'm the only one in charge here!) This was possibly changed for religious reasons, with the original line being one of the few controversial parts of the film.
- In its broadcast on Disney Channel, Zinnia Wormwood's dialogue is cut when she argues with Harry Wormwood in the restaurant and calls him a "mariquita".
- The dubbing actresses sisters Rocío and Sylvia Garcel participate in this dubbing of two characters.
