Miraculous: As Aventuras de Ladybug is the Brazilian Portuguese dub of Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir. It airs exclusively on the national Brazilian children's channel Gloob; the first season premiered on March 7, 2016, and new episodes were released every weekday until April 11, 2016. Season 2 debuted with the Christmas special on December 22, 2016, and properly began premiering on November 3, 2017 until November 30, 2018. The third season aired throughout 2019, from June 15, until November 29, 2019. Notably, almost all episode premiere dates of this dub occur closely to the English dub's international releases.
When Gloob became a co-producer of the series,[2] they became more heavily involved with the production and releases of the series. This resulted in a majority of the series' fourth season being internationally debuted first with this dub, and Gloob also began heavily promoting the series throughout their network and social media, as it is their most popular show. Season 4 premiered on March 23, 2021, with the episode "Fu Furieux" as a preview, before properly debuting on April 13, 2021, and concluding on March 10, 2022.
Many fans of the show have criticized Gloob's mass marketing for this dub - and by extension, the series - as their episode trailers, particularly for season 4, contain major spoilers for upcoming episodes. Some have also noted how the channel has at various times released episodes and trailers before several international Disney Channels in order to gain more attention.
Further criticism arose in the fandom, when shortly before the sixth season premiered in the United States, Gloob put up a post on Instagram, stating that if they get 200,000 comments on said post, they would premiere the sixth season. That goal was reached, and Gloob premiered the season just over 6 hours before the USA (on video-on-demand platforms), disappointing fans who expected said country to premiere the season first.
In addition to the fourth season, the show's fifth season has also premiered first with this dub, as of June 13, 2022. In this season, the dub was slightly re-titled Miraculous: As Aventuras de Ladybug & Cat Noir. The sixth season also premiered first with this dub, on January 24, 2025, and was re-titled Miraculous: Contos de Ladybug e Cat Noir.
