Molly McGee et le Fantôme is the French dub of The Ghost and Molly McGee. This dub was first announced by a translator who works for Dubbing Brothers, Virginie Lainé, on her LinkedIn;[1] this marks the first dub to be announced of the show. It was then officially announced on October 20, 2021, when it was confirmed that the dub would air on Disney Channel in France sometime in January 2022[2]; it was slightly delayed for a February 2 release date.[3]
Before the dub premiered, the first segment of the first episode, "The Curse", was released as a sneak peek to YouTube on January 26, 2022.[4]
Prior to its TV release, the dub was first released on Disney+ on November 9, 2021, alongside the Italian and Dutch dubs, with the first two episodes and the fourth episode; more episodes debuted on the service since then. As usual, episodes are added to the service sporadically, at no consistent basis.
The name of the dub, as well as some episode titles, were also implemented early on the service once the show debuted on it in the United States; these titles were also made available through iTunes in Canada, although only the English audio track is available at this time.
