My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks is the Latin American Spanish dub of the film of the same name. It was released by AlbaCinema on October 30 in Guatemala and in Uruguay by Movie that same day. It was later released in various theaters in other Latin American countries. It also had a temporary exhibition at Cinépolis México and Cinépolis Colombia from November 7 to 16, 2014. It premiered on Discovery Kids on November 15 in the Mexico feed.
Production of the dubbing started in mid-May 2014 with the songs and promotional shorts (see below), which were dubbed along with the fourth season. The translation of the film began on August 19, 2014 and the recordings began on August 25 with Diana Alonso in the character of Adagio Dazzle. The recordings possibly concluded at the beginning of September. On November 3, Diana Alonso confirmed on her Twitter account that it was not she who performed the songs of her character Adagio Dazzle and assures that they were recorded long before the film.
