My Little Pony: Prijateljstvo je čarolija

Not to be confused with the Serbian Minimax dub.

My Little Pony: Prijateljstvo je čarolija is one of several Croatian dubs of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Following the 2014 dub, it premiered on RTL Kockica on November 11, 2017, dubbed by Livada Produkcija. It received better reception from Croatian fans than the previous dub.

Originally, only the first season had aired; in April 2020, seasons 4 and 5 eventually aired^[1], with seasons 2-3 being completely skipped. These were the only seasons of the show to be covered. A "third season" was notably announced in September 2019, despite that only one season was ever released at the time, and not two.^[2]

Season 4 reportedly aired earlier however, once the show premiered on Pikaboo, briefly, from November 25 to December 22, 2019. Only that season aired on the channel.

All of the episodes were available on Voyo (formerly known as RTL Play); they were removed from the service in 2023, though season 1 was added back in November 2024.^[3]

Episode titles of this dub are unknown, except for the first five episodes of season 1, as they were neither narrated nor localized in the episodes. They are also not noted on Voyo.
This dub has a fair amount of differences to differentiate it from the previous Croatian dub by Novi Mediji:
- The characters retain their original English names, instead of adapting them into Croatian.
- Everything in this version is originally synchronized (i.e. there are no voice clips taken from the Serbian Mini dub).
- While Novi Mediji's dub did cover the second season (as its last), this one only covered the first, and later, the fourth and fifth seasons. As HRT 2 was still rerunning season 2 as late as 2019, this is very likely due to RTL being unable to obtain the rights. No Croatian dub of the show is complete, as seasons 3 and 6-9 were not dubbed into Croatian at all.
The theme song reuses lyrics from the HRT dub, with new singers and a few alterations (namely, a partially rewritten last line, and the second to last line - not counting the "My Little Pony" portions - having the last two words swapped around).
In Feeling Pinkie Keen, Gummy is classified as a crocodile rather than an alligator.
In Owl's Well That Ends Well, due to the nature of the language, Owlowiscious' name is pronounced as "Auvlišiz" (/aʊlɪʃɪs/).
This dub referred to Mage Meadowbrook in the season 5 premiere as a male. Granted, in the original English script her gender is not mentioned and is instead only known in the comics and revealed in an episode from two seasons later, likely leading the translators to assume that Meadowbrook was a male character without supplementary information beyond season 5.
Only in season 1 logo is localized, most likely because it is done by Studio Ritem since they have been responsible for finalizing and editing in S1 since Livada Produkcija mostly did voice processing.

Adaptation

In "Sonic Rainboom", the short bit of dialogue with Rainbow Dash misunderstanding Fluttershy when the latter spots a winged Rarity is changed. In the original Rainbow Dash thinks Fluttershy said "rare" (replying with "The sonic rainboom is way more than rare!"), but in this dub, most character names are untranslated including Rarity's name and the word that Rainbow Dash hears doesn't even mean anything - as a result, it was changed so that Rainbow Dash thinks Fluttershy was trying to say "rerna" (a synonym for "pećnica" which means "oven" in Croatian), prompting her to go "'Rerna'? You mean, 'oven'? What are you even talking about?!".
In "Applebuck Season":
- The things Applejack mishears from Twilight trying to talk to her are altered, such as her mishearing "Možemo razgovarati?" ("Can we talk?") as "Noževima rasparati" ("Rip seams with knives"). Twilight telling Applejack that she needs help is also translated very similarly to the Croatian HRT dub, where Applejack confuses the word "pomoć" ("help") for "ponoć" ("midnight").
- When Pinkie Pie asks Applejack to get baking soda (which in Croatian is "soda bikarbona") and Applejack thinks she was told to add a soda drink, "soda" is translated to "a bottle of Coca Cola".
