My Little Pony: The Movie is a 2017 animated musical fantasy film based on the animated television series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which itself is based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The plot follows the alicorn Twilight Sparkle, her five pony friends – collectively known as the "Mane 6" – and her dragon friend Spike embarking on a quest to save their home of Equestria from an evil conqueror while gaining new friends along the way.
The film was produced by Allspark Pictures and DHX Media, using traditional animation created with Toon Boom Harmony. It premiered in New York City on September 24, 2017, and was released on October 6, 2017 in North America by Lionsgate, and in Canada by Entertainment One Films.

International versions[]
Notes[]
- This is the only piece of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic media to be dubbed in Icelandic and Irish, despite the fact that its parent series was not dubbed in these languages.
- This is the first Friendship Is Magic media to be properly dubbed in Bulgarian, Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian since the demo dubs of "The Ticket Master" that were produced in 2011. Other than those, the parent series was only voice-overed in those languages.
- This movie carries the first Canadian French dub of the franchise since the demo dub of "The Ticket Master", that was temporarily available on Hasbro's website in 2011. Other than that, the European French dub of the show airs in Canada instead, with minor modifications.
- Unlike the Kazakh dub of the parent series, unusually, the Kazakh dub of the film is a voice-over version.
- This film saw the temporary return of the Slovak dub, as the dub of the parent series stopped in 2014 after only dubbing the first two seasons.
- The song "Rainbow" by Sia is undubbed in nearly all dubs of the film, as well as "We Got the Beat", due to the former being sung by a celebrity, and the latter being a licensed song. However, Soren's Persian dub and the Burmese dub both dub these songs.
- The Burmese dub also dubbed "Off to See the World" from the end credits.
