My Little Pony : Les amies, c'est magique is the French dub of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Produced by SDI Media in Belgium, the dub first premiered on Tiji in France on August 27, 2011. On November 3, 2011, the series premiered on Gulli. Episode premieres usually alternated between both channels, with TiJi being the channel prioritized the most. The series also airs on TF1, as part of its TFOU block; the channel is notable for premiering season 8 first, on May 6, 2018. The dub completed its run in France on December 14, 2020, although it had ended earlier in June through e-Junior in the Middle East, where the dub airs on the channel's French audio track.

The first season of this dub is currently available on Netflix. Addtionally, episodes were available on TFOU MAX and Gulli's SVOD service. Starting 2013, various DVDs were sold in France, distributed by Clear Vision and Zylo. On October 8, 2020, the official French My Little Pony YouTube channel began uploading episodes of the dub, starting with the episode "The Return of Harmony Part 1".

In Canada, the show is known as Mon petit poney : La magie de l'amitié (or simply Mon petit poney), and it has aired on Yoopa since September 26, 2013. While the dub remains the same, the opening theme was re-dubbed slightly to reflect the show's title change in the country. The same opening can be heard on Netflix and YouTube.

Notes

• As with other dubs of the show, the episode "The Ticket Master" was issued and sold on DVDs in 2011; However, in this case, the dub is entirely the same as the final broadcast version. The DVD itself also featured a Tiji promotion at the start.
  • A Canadian French dub of the same episode was available on Hasbro's website in the same year.
• In the episode "The Cutie Pox", Apple Bloom in one scene speaks French, to which Applejack claims that her sister is "speaking in fancy". In the French dub, Apple Bloom speaks Old French instead.
• Gustave le Grand, the French-accented griffon, was renamed Gustavo in this dub and given an Italian accent.
• The Canadian edit was used for the 5.1 remix of season 1-3, even in Europe.
• In season 1, even in Europe, the name Mon Petit Poney was used on the "Previously on My Little Pony" card.
  • It is likely that this dub was originally produced with the name Mon petit poney which was later left untranslated, but the producers forgot to change the localization.

• Cranky Doodle Donkey is called "Grincheux l'Âne Têtu".
• Fili-Second is called "Fringante".
• Zapp is called "Tonnerre".
• Radiance is called "Brillance".
• Mistress Mare-velous is called "Wonder Jument".
• Breezies are called "Ponillons".
• Owlowiscious' name remains untranslated in "Owl's Well That Ends Well," but in "May the Best Pet Win!" he is called "Chouette Délicieuse" (delicious owl).
• The Rainbooms are often called "Les Boom-En-Ciel".
• Ponyville is always called "Poneyville", and sometimes Ponyville in synopses.
• Crystal Empire is called "Empire de Cristal".
• Castle of the Two Sisters is called "Château des Deux Soeurs".
• Elements of Harmony are called "Élements d'Harmonie".
• For season 1 only, there have been a few things that have different names, but changed names later on.
  • Wonderbolts are originally called "Flèches de l'Air", but it changed to Wonderbolts later on.
  • Sweet Apple Acres is originally called "Ferme aux Délices", but it changed to "Ferme de la Douce Pomme" later on.
  • Everfree Forest is originally `called "Forêt Désenchantée", but it changed to "Forêt Everfree" later on.
