NINKU -忍空- is an anime television series based on the manga of the same name by Kōji Kirayama. Produced by Fuji Television, Yomiko Advertising, and Studio Pierrot, the series was directed by Noriyuki Abe with scripts written by Hiroshi Hashimoto. The series focuses on Fusuke, who journeys acros the land with his pet Hiroyuki and Rihoko to find Fusuke's mother, who was separated from him at a very young age when he was kidnapped. The series aired on Fuji TV and other FNS stations from January 14, 1995 and February 24, 1996 for 55 episodes.
