Trivia[]
- Veikko Honkanen later played Santa in the Finnish version of The Magic Crystal.
- This is one of two dubs (the another being the French dub) to have the song "The Way to the Stars" dubbed in it's local language.
- Mixing
- Smiley's howl was reused from the English version, and, if listened closely, Patrick Fitzsymons' vocals for Grandpa can be faintly heard.
- Unique to this dub, "Wilma's Yuletide Surprise" has been pitched up by 3 semitones.
- Localization
- The text in the opening and closing credits were localized in Finnish.
- The mentioning of "Flying Forces", and the "Finnish Film Foundation" at the near end of the film, were left intact in English, despite the latter being shown as "Suomen elokuvasäätiö" at the beginning of the film, and in the "Special Thanks" section at the near end.
Errors[]

- During the credits, The song "Happy Christmas" listed Vuokko Hovatta as the singer, and Annamari Metsävainio as the song translator, however that song was left undubbed from the original version.
- This was later corrected in the sequel, with the original info now being present.
