Censorship[]

Episodes featuring LGBT characters (Sergio and Sancho posing as a same-sex couple and a family with two fathers appearing in "Matters of the Kart", "Throwing Pains" showing Becky and Dodge as a same-sex couple and Ivan making mention of his husband in "Let's Get Ready to Rumba") are banned from airing on Nicktoons Adria due to the channel's censorship of such content. However, LGBT content does not experience censorship in Croatia, where same-sex relationships are recognized, although homosexuality is still seen as taboo by many in the country.

  • As such, "Gossipy Girl" was banned from airing likely due to Dodge's appearance in the episode and "Do the Fruit Shake" for being paired with "Throwing Pains".

Eventually, all aforementioned banned episodes (except for "Do the Fruit Shake") were released on SkyShowtime in 2023.

Trivia[]

  • In "Monster Cash" and "Bend It Like Abuelo", dollars are localized as kunas,[note 1] despite the setting being specified as the U.S.
    • However, other episodes use dollars instead.

Notes[]

  1. At the time of the episodes' airing, Croatia had yet to adopt the Euro as its currency.
