Palmera Record was an Argentinean dubbing studio. In addition to its dubbing work, the company offered subtitling services in neutral Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
History[]
Palmera Record was created in the mid-1990s by the stock split of the Videorecord studio. It closed its doors on August 16, 2022, without prior notice to its employees, who found the studio's locks changed and that they had been laid off.
During its existence, it was considered as the largest and most controversial dubbing company in Argentina and Latin America, unquestionably, accompanied by multiple scandals until its closure, including harassment, mistreatment, labor exploitation and tax evasion.
