Broadcast[]
KiKA[]
Peppa Wutz began broadcasting on KiKA on October 6, 2005, with the episode "Piggy in the Middle". New episodes consistently aired every Monday-Friday at 07:05 until November 11, when the series began going into reruns; 26 episodes premiered during this time. The series stopped airing on the channel on December 16, 2005.
The dub returned to KiKA on June 29, 2006, in reruns. Later, new episodes would broadcast daily at 07:05 from December 6 to December 20, 2006, after which the series once again stopped airing. It would once again return to the channel from April 2 to November 3, 2007, during which 3 new episodes aired from August 8-10 at 07:55.
After a two year hiatus, the series returned, again, to KiKA on May 19, 2009, with 2 new episodes airing every Monday-Friday at 06:50. Season 1 finished its run on the channel on May 28, with season 2 starting the next day. New episodes would consistently air in this fashion until June 23, 2009, with the broadcast of the episodes "Ice Skating" and "The Long Grass". From July 13 to August 3, 2009, the remaining episodes of season 2 would air, with one new episode airing every Monday-Friday at 06:50, until the last episode of the season, "Cold Winter Day", aired on August 3.
Following this, KiKA took a massive hiatus, not airing the series for 4 years. Eventually, the series returned to the channel on July 30, 2012, with one episode airing every three days at 07:25. During this period of time, only one new episode aired, "Numbers", on October 5, after which the series once again disappeared from the channel.
Various reruns of the series would air on the channel from 2013 to 2015, repeating the first two seasons over and over again. Finally, 6 years after the end of season 2, and 3 years after the last new episode aired on the channel, season 3 began regularly broadcasting on the channel on June 1, 2015, with two new episodes airing from Monday to Friday at 06:15. This continued consistently until July 3 of the same year, with the entirety of season 3 being broadcast. Despite this, two episodes, "Santa's Grotto" and "Santa's Visit", appear to have never aired on the channel.
Reruns of the series continued consistently until October 25, 2017, when season 4 began airing on the channel. Three new episodes aired from Monday to Friday at 08:20 until November 7, 2017, the last time the series would air on KiKA. Season 4 never finished airing; the last episode to make it to air before KiKA lost the rights was "Children's Fete".
Super RTL[]
Following KiKA losing the rights to the series, Super RTL would gain the broadcasting rights on November 7, 2017, the same day the series finished airing on KiKA[2]. Season 3 began airing on the channel on March 1, 2018. 2 episodes of the season aired daily at 06:45 (later 06:40) and 07:45 (later 07:50). These reruns continued consistently until season 5 premiered on the channel (skipping season 4) on September 3, 2018, at the 07:50 slot. Episodes of season 5 would air daily at this slot until September 28, following which the first half of season 5 began rerunning on the channel.
Season 1 premiered on the channel on March 4, 2019. Four episodes aired daily at 08:00 until March 20, with all episodes of the season airing. Season 2 began broadcast the next day and aired in the same fashion until it ended its premiere on April 8, when season 2 concluded on the channel. Following this, Super RTL dropped the season 3 and 5 reruns to rerun season 1 and 2, with three episodes airing daily at 06:45, 07:45 and 07:50.
Season 4 finally began airing on the channel on October 21, 2019, with two episodes airing at 08:00. From November 7, season 4 episodes that had never broadcast on KiKA began airing on the channel, and the season finished its broadcast on November 26.
The second half of season 5 began premiering on March 2, 2020. New episodes aired on various days at 07:45, with the season finally finishing on April 6, 2020.
Season 6 premiered on the channel on March 8, 2021. One new episode aired every day at 07:50 until April 13, when the first half of the season finished premiering. The second half of the season premiered on November 15, 2021; for the first time, new episodes were only broadcast on Monday-Friday instead of every day. Season 6 finished on December 20, 2021.
Season 7A premiered on November 14, 2022. As with the second half of season 6, new episodes broadcast from Monday-Friday at 07:45; it finished its premieres on December 23, 2022. Season 7B began premiering on February 13, 2023. For the first week, two episodes premiered on Monday-Friday at 07:40; from February 20, only one new episode aired each Monday-Friday. These premieres finished on March 7, 2023. Season 7C began its premieres on October 23, 2023 at 07:45.
Nick Jr.[]
Nick Jr. began broadcasting the series on November 1, 2019, with the episode "Windy Autumn Day". The channel has not premiered any episodes of the series first, and as of October 2023 only the first four seasons have aired on the channel.
