Persian Toon Studio (also known as Parsian Translation House) was a dubbing studio specializing in dubbing and subtitling TV shows (mostly cartoons and children's content) into the Persian language. It was based in London, England, and was heavily associated with the channel Persian Toon. Despite being based in England, most of their dubs seem to have been produced by disclosed dubbing studios in Iran that were credited under the studio's name.
History[]
Beginnings[]
Persian Toon Studio was originally incorporated in 2011 alongside Persian Toon Broadcasting, and was intended to provide translation services for the Persian Toon channel, with it sharing some of the same staff as Persian Toon. Their earlier projects include dubs of shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Phineas and Ferb, and earlier masters of their dubs even had the phrase "Dubbed by Persian Toon" usually included at the beginning of a show, showing that they were initially heavily related to Persian Toon. Later on, PTH also started subtitling content such as Pair of Kings and Kickin' It, both of which were broadcasted on Persian Toon.
Closedown[]
After the closure of the Persian Toon channel, PTH's earlier projects for Persian Toon would end up airing on GEM Junior. Around this time, PTH started dubbing for GEM. However, their last activity seems to have been sometime in 2016.
Aftermath[]
Some staff from Persian Toon Studio later went on to work for Mahbang Studios.
