Trivia[]

  • Aside from some casting changes, this marks the first SpongeBob-related dub to be produced by cast members of the original Filipino dub of SpongeBob SquarePants since the show stopped dubbing new episodes in 2020, and the first SpongeBob-based film to be dubbed by this cast list since the TV5 dub of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
    • This is due to Netflix's switching of studios from 20Plus Studios (the studio that produced the Filipino dubs of the last two SpongeBob movies) to Hit Productions in late-2024 for their non-Iyuno produced Filipino dubbings, with SpongeBob's voice actor from the original TV5 dub, Rudolf Baldonado Jr., being Head of Localization at the studio.
  • As per tradition for some titles dubbed by Hit Productions, two of the cast members are given nicknames in the dubbing credits, corresponding to the theme of the media:
    • "Spongha" is a reference to the actual Filipino translation of the word Sponge which is Espongha.
    • "Texan Squirrel '08" is a reference to the year the Filipino dub of SpongeBob SquarePants first premiered, which was 2008, and is also a homage to when Nica first voiced Sandy in the show.
