| Not to be confused with the co-production of the same name. |
Plaza Sésamo (also known as Sésamo, Sesame Street on Netflix and Sesame Street: Plaza Sésamo on Netflix alternatively) is one of several Latin American Spanish dubs of Sesame Street. It has previously aired on Azteca 7; it is available on HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Netflix.
Broadcast[]
Initially, 2 episodes from season 43 were dubbed and released on DVD, as part of a compilation called "Aprendiendo a jugar en equipo" (Be a Good Sport) in 2015. On October 28, 2024, it was announced that episode 4635 would be dubbed and aired on Azteca 7.[1] At the same time, it was announced that season 52 of the dub would air on the channel.[2] Episode 4635 later premiered on the channel that same year on October 31. On November 10, 2025, season 56 of the dub would premiere on Netflix, along with other dubs of the season on the service.

Dubbing credits[]
Seasons 51-52[]
Season 56[]
Notes[]
Season 43[]
- The credits are cut from the first episode, while the intro is cut from the second episode.
- Mario Heras, the director and translator for the songs in this season, didn't like how the dub of the Sesame Street theme song came out, saying it had a bad mix of timing and sound.
Seasons 46, 51-52[]
- Despite the main title of this dub being Plaza Sésamo, the dub itself uses "Sésamo" to refer to Sesame Street, as well as in the title cards and credits.
- This is because the dub aired in place of the co-production of the same name, where it was known as "Sésamo" at the time.
- The intro and credits music was replaced with the season 15 rendition of the Plaza Sésamo theme song, although modified to change "Plaza Sésamo" to "Sésamo".
- The visuals were also changed out completely for a different 2D style featuring portions of characters looking around at a transforming world (including Lola from Plaza Sésamo, who doesn't appear in this series.)
- The season 51 dubbing credits use the English names of the characters instead of their localized names. This was reverted for season 52.
- They also include several spelling errors for the actors' names. These were fixed for season 52.
- Yamil Atala's name is misspelled as "Yamill Atala".
- Jocelyn Robles' name is misspelled as "Joscelyn Robles"
- They also include several spelling errors for the actors' names. These were fixed for season 52.
Season 56[]
- Most of the regular cast from previous seasons were able to return, despite the change in dubbing studio, except for Alejandro Mayén as Grover/Oscar, who was replaced with Luis Leonardo Suárez and Óscar Rangel respectively.
- Despite this, Alejandro Mayén voiced Grover for a YouTube short promo posted to the official Plaza Sésamo YouTube channel promoting the 56th season[5], along with Cookie Monster featuring a different, currently unknown actor from Ricardo Rocha.
