Missing episodes[]

  • The 35th episode in the original dub, "ミニリュウのでんせつ" (The Legend of Miniryu), did not air in the United States and internationally due to the frequent use of firearms throughout it.
  • The 38th episode in the original dub, "でんのうせんしポリゴン" (Computer Warrior Porygon), is infamous from its ban due to some scenes containing repetitive visual effects, causing seizures in real-life. This caused the show to be on a four-month hiatus before coming back. Because of this, the episode was never re-broadcasted again, nor was it ever dubbed internationally.
  • The 250th episode in the original dub, "氷の洞窟!" (The Ice Cave!), did not air in the United States and internationally due to the controversy of the appearance of Jynx, ressembling stereotypes of black people.
