Popeye and Son is an animated series made by Hanna-Barbera, which aired in Saturday mornings on CBS during 1987. The series focuses on Popeye, Olive Oyl and their son, Popeye Junior, who has inherited Popeye's ability to gain superhuman strength from spinach, despite having a disdain of it, instead preferring to eat hamburgers.
