Notes[]
- The translation and recording was made over the Italian dub.
- Instead of using the Japanese songs, the Italian ones were used, replacing any mid-song dialogues/screams with the songs from the official Italian soundtrack release. The change of tone from higher (straight from the Italian airing) and lower (from the soundtrack release) is quite noticeable.[19][20]
- All songs were presented with subtitles. However, some short songs and hums were dubbed by Albanian voice actors or left in Japanese.
- In episode 1, Lucia sings a fragment Koi wa Nandarou in Albanian.
- In episode 2, Lucia sings a translation of Dolce Melodia, the song that replaces Legend of Mermaid in the Italian dub.[21]
- In episode 3, when Lucia sings while sweeping, she sings a translation of Torno All'Oceano, the song that replaces Ever Blue in the Italian dub.[22] This was also done in the Italian dub, in replacement of Koi wa Nandarou. Later in the same episode, Lucia sings Jennifer's Song in Japanese.
- In episode 19, Lucia sings the karaoke songs in Japanese without subtitles. Jennifer's Song was replaced with Splash Dream.[23]
- In episodes 20 and 40, Splash Dream is shown in Japanese without subtitles.
- In episode 34, Auri's singing was dubbed.[24]
- In episode 80, like in the Italian dub, Mikel performs a spoken translation of Tsubasa wo Daite.
- All songs were presented with subtitles. However, some short songs and hums were dubbed by Albanian voice actors or left in Japanese.

"Jess" Discographic logo in the style of the Albanian Mermaid Melody logo.
- Due to the dub being unofficial, the studio had no access to the official M&E track, this led to the background music often being replaced with other tracks not related to the series.
- Title cards were localized and "Jess" Discographic's logo (adapted to match the show's logo style) appeared at the end of every episode.
- This dub shows scenes that were censored in the Italian dub, such as the Black Beauty Sisters blushing or almost kissing while singing.
- Episode 28, which is significantly important to the plot development, has never been broadcast in Albania, it's unknown if it was ever dubbed.
Errors[]
- In episode 16, Hanon speaks over Torno All'Oceano while the singing voice (Francesca Daprati, from the Italian dub) keeps singing. [25]
- Noel's powerline "Aiiro Pearl Voice" was translated in three different ways throughout the series,[26] straying from the Italian dubbing, which correctly translated aiiro as indaco (indigo):
- "Zëri i perles bojëqielli" (sky blue)
- "Zëri i perles kaltër" (light blue)
- "Zëri i perles gurkali" (teal, turquoise)
