RTP-Produção is the Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP) department responsible for producing programs and dubbing series.[1] It is currently managed by Paulo Resende.
History[]
Edipim Estúdios - Produções de Vídeo e Áudio was a television production company located in Abrunheira, Sintra, founded on October 1, 1978. It was completely acquired by RTP in 2001.
Fo&Co - Formas e Conteúdos, Produção Audiovisual was a company founded in August 1999 by RTP and began operations on January 1, 2000.
In 2004, Fo&Co and Edipim were merged to create RTP - Meios de Produção. On January 1, 2007, the new company began to be known by its current name.

- RTP in-house dubs are normally made for the group's own channels, such as RTP1 and RTP2, although some of these can also be seen on cable and satellite channels, such as Canal Panda, Biggs and Cartoon Network.
- There are cases of dubs produced by RTP-Produção but outsourced and recorded in different dubbing studios.
- Its debut as a dubbing studio was on 1989 with the Portuguese adaptation series of the Sesame Street.
