Ramilya Iskander (in Russian: Рамиля Искандер) is a Russian theater, film and dubbing actress.
She was born on June 24, 1977 in the village of Kunashak. Iskander is a stage name derived from his mother’s maiden name, Iskandarova. She acted in films. She took part in dubbing foreign films and video games.
On September 14, 2023 the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Penza placed her in custody until October 21. On March 27, 2024, at a meeting of the Pervomaisky District Court of Penza, Iskander pleaded guilty to attempted sale of drugs by a group of persons on a significant and especially large scale. The defense asked to release the actress under house arrest, but the decision to keep her in custody was left unchanged. The state prosecution appealed to the court to sentence her to imprisonment for a period of 11 years in a general regime colony. On May 27, 2024, she was sentenced by the court to 6.5 years in prison in a general regime colony on charges of attempted large-scale drug trafficking.
