Regal Academy is an Italian animated series co-created by Iginio Straffi and Joanne Lee. The series was produced by the Rainbow S.r.l. studio, which is co-owned by Straffi and Viacom. Viacom's Nickelodeon channels broadcast Regal Academy worldwide,[4] while Rai YoYo aired the series in Italy.
In English, the series premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 13, 2016.[5] The second season premiered on Nickelodeon's sister channel Nick Jr. on November 5, 2017.
