The same censorship occurred in the Spanish version
- In episode 55, the scene where Syaoran explains that Japanese reading is distant from the Chinese one was cut.

- This version is distributed by Arait Multimedia, being the company responsible for distributing the series in the Iberian Peninsula.
- The European Spanish dub was used as the base for this dub, and so changes and errors made in that version have remained in the Portuguese version.
- Spinel Sun's gender was changed to female.
- In contrast, the openings were dubbed and don't have a title voice-over, unlike the Spanish version.
- In the Spanish version, Kero was given a Mexican accent, following the Japanese version, which has an Osaka accent.
- This detail was ignored by the Portuguese dub.
- The European Spanish dub was used as the base for this dub, and so changes and errors made in that version have remained in the Portuguese version.
- Paulo Coelho dubbed a female character, one of Tomoyo's bodyguards, who appears in the second episode of the series.
- In the original version, Kero and Spinel have different VA's for their two forms.
- In the Portuguese version, both characters have only one VA each.
- The RTP channels showed a different version to the one broadcasted by Canal Panda and Panda Biggs.
- In the RTP version, the theme songs were creditless and the audio aired in stereo.
- On Canal Panda and Panda Biggs, the footage was the same as the Spanish one, which meant that all the credits of that dub were broadcasted by both channels.
- This version aired with slightly deteriorated audio and in mono.
- Also, there were audio errors at the beginning and end of the third opening.

Dub[]
- There were some exchanges of VA's between characters.
- In episode 1, Chiharu and Naoko's first lines were dubbed by Bárbara Lourenço while Chiharu's second line was dubbed by Graça Ferreira.
- In episode 2, Naoko is voiced by Mónica Garcez while Chiharu was voiced by Bárbara Lourenço from this episode onwards.
- From episode 3 onwards, Naoko was dubbed by Graça Ferreira.
- The Rain card was voiced by two people at the same time (Bárbara Lourenço and Graça Ferreira).
- Throughout the series, there are some mixing and dialogue errors, some of them inherited from the Spanish version.
- Yukito's last line in episode 4 and his first line in episode 24 were dubbed by Paulo Coelho instead of Quimbé.
- In episode 32, some of Touya's lines were missing.
- At the end of episode 9, Sakura refers the series title as "Caçadora de Cartas Mágicas, Sakura" (Magic Card Hunter, Sakura).
- In episode 64, Tomoyo whispers in her sleep. This line was incorrectly spoken by Sakura.
- This error is also present in the Spanish version.
Broadcast[]
- Episode 59 was not broadcast on Panda Biggs for unknown reasons, while episode 60 was shown twice.
