Saludos Amigos is the Spanish dub of the film of the same name. It was originally screened in theaters in Argentina on August 26, 1942 and throughout Latin America (barring Chile, which had also premiered the dub in 1942) in the following year. In Spain, it premiered on August 21, 1944 at a premiere event in Madrid before being broadcast at another event in Barcelona on December 28 of the same year.

Although a European Spanish audio track for the film exists on Disney+, it is not a complete redub of the film in Castilian Spanish, but rather a different master of this dub.

Trivia[]

  • Most of the cast members reprise their roles from the original. Only the narrator was cast with a different actor for this dub.
    • Goofy and José Carioca have a few of their lines undubbed from the original. In Goofy's case, it was his line where he says, "¡Hasta la vista! ¡Adiós, amigos!" and in José's case, it was all of his lines spoken in Portuguese.
    • The reason most of the cast reprises their roles is due to the film's nature as a propaganda film meant to show appreciation for Latin American culture.
