Trivia[]

  • This version was recorded in Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands, alongside the first Dutch dubbing due to the Nazi occupation in Germany at the time. It was also recorded there due to currency regulations in Germany.
  • Negotiations to bring the film to Nazi Germany failed in March 1939. After World War II and the collapse of Nazi Germany, the film finally saw a West German release in 1950.
