Selkirk, el verdadero Robinson Crusoe

Selkirk, the real Robinson Crusoe is an animated film filmed in Uruguay in co-production with Argentina and Chile, directed by the Uruguayan Walter Tournier based on his own script written in collaboration with Mario Jacob and Enrique Cortés, which premiered on February 2, 2012.

Selkirk, a rebellious and selfish pirate, is the pilot of the Esperanza, an English galleon that sails the southern seas in search of treasure. Through bets he wins the present and future savings of his companions, earning the enmity of the crew and Captain Bullock, who decides to abandon him on a deserted island.
