Shinchan is the Indonesian dub of クレヨンしんちゃん. The dub was first broadcast on RCTI in Indonesia in June 2000, where it ran until Trans7 started airing the dub from November 2010 to April 2011, stopping due to the show harming the station's "educational" image. In May 2011, the dub returned to RCTI, and aired until mid-2015, stopping because of increased pressure from the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission. They branded the series "borderline pornography" and told the channel to either cut "indecent" parts of the program or show it at a later time, when many children would miss it.[1] IMMG held broadcasting rights for the dub in Indonesia.
