Sigil Light&Sound (formerly known as Burning Bush Studio and Hedgehog Riders) is a Moscow-based Russian media localization and dubbing company. It's currently owned by Konstantin Sapronenkov.
History[]
The company was originally founded in 2006 by ex-1C employees Konstantin Sapronenkov and Mikhail Voloshin as the Hedgehog Riders localization team. The team has mostly done game localization work for Noviy Disk, a game publishing company. The main recording studio for the team was PropellerSound.
In 2008, the company has struck a deal with TV channel 2x2 and started producing voiceovers for it. Their partnership continued up to 2012, when the channel's management changed. Since 2011, the company's television portfolio extended to channels MTV Russia and then-new Paramount Comedy.
In 2013, the Hedgehog Riders team was split into two separate entities, with the other being TrueDubbing. The company, now named Burning Bush, has started producing dubs by renting Diyez Studio that's owned by a singer/musician Yevgeniy Drayer.
Between the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015, the company built a new studio and assumed its current name of Sigil Light&Sound.
