Son of Kong (sometimes known as The Son of Kong) is an American 1933 Pre-Code adventure monster film made by RKO Pictures. It is the second installment in the King Kong franchise and was released barely nine months after the first film. It was directed by Ernest Schoedsack and features special effects by Willis O'Brien and Buzz Gibson. The film is about a washed up Carl Denham, who lives in total secludedness, after King Kong ran amok in New York. He ends up on Skull Island again after a mutiny, where he meets Kong's son.
