- This is the first time that On Air has dubbed a film from the franchise, which was being dubbed exclusively by Iyuno Portugal until now.
- However, the same studio was previously responsible for the European Portuguese dub of Sonic Prime.
- Despite the change of studio, the entire cast from the previous films returned to reprise their roles.
- Even the Director and Translator remained the same.
