The Sonic Underground theme song is the opening theme of the 1999 series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. It was composed by Robby London and Mike Piccirillo. It was performed by Michael Lanning, with dialogue by Queen Aleena's voice actress, Gail Webster.
The sequence was animated on-house by Andy Heyward's company, rather than Hong Ying Animation Studios as in the series.

In "Friend or Foe?", being the first episode of the dub, the regular opening theme is actually dubbed at first, with a remade instrumental to boot. The series and episode titles, as well as the credits are read out by a narrator as it plays, making the song only barely audible as a result. However, during the middle of the song, it morphs into a synth instrumental called "Autobahn" by Dutch composer Ed Starink, which emulates the wedding music "Here Comes the Bride" with no explanation, leaving the prior song incomplete. The other three episodes afterwards all feature a second opening that does away with playing any part of the initial dubbed opening, and the wedding music plays throughout the entire theme (without the presence of any narrator, as well), it is unknown if the full opening was dubbed.
