Controversy[]

In May 2023, it was announced that a large part of the film's cast would be made up of various famous people, mainly from social networks such as TikTok and YouTube, from various Latin American countries. Although several of the characters that these famous people will play have not yet been confirmed, this has aroused growing rejection by the Latin American audience, because the vast majority of these cast participants are not professional actors.[3][4] Although this practice is already common in the Latin American Spanish dub industry, it has been criticized for the low presence of professional actors in the cast, detrimental to the broad Mexican dubbing industry.[5] The criticism has reached such a point that many have indicated that they would prefer to see the premiere of the film with Spanish subtitles, instead of the version with dubbing.[6]
