SpongeBob's Truth or Square is a 2009 platformer video game based on the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants episode with the same title, released for the Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation Portable, and Nintendo DS. It was developed by Heavy Iron Studios on home consoles and ported to the PlayStation Portable by Barking Lizards Technologies. The Nintendo DS release developed by Altron is adapted from the console release into a different engine, although it contains no voice acting and therefore no dubs.
In the game, players can turn SpongeBob into a Sledgehammer Smash to whack intruders, a WaterBob sponge to spew water, a giant spatula, a spinning blade (or a spinning pirate ship steering wheel), a MuscleBob BuffPants, or even an Explosive Cannon to aim and blast baddies. Players can reminisce through fan-favorite SpongeBob moments as the game draws upon "The 10 Happiest Moments of SpongeBob's Life" and story elements from the animated television series, tying into the tenth anniversary advertising campaign and DVD release of the same name, "10 Happiest Moments". In multiplayer mode, players can play as SpongeBob or with a friend playing as Plankton throughout the entire game on both the Wii and Xbox 360 platforms. Two levels are exclusive to the PSP and DS versions, Bikini Bottom and The Krusty Krab.
SpongeBob's Truth or Square has received mixed reviews from critics. Review aggregator Metacritic gave the Xbox 360 version a 6.7/10. Corey Cohen of Official Xbox Magazine rated the game 4 out of 10 and considered it boring, while criticizing its "tedious" levels and "irritating" camera. Common Sense Media gave it a score of 4 out of 5 stars.

Notes[]
- Each platform has multiple versions of the game.
- USA: English
- Europe: English, Dutch, German, Italian
- Spain: Spanish
- This version of the game was not released on Xbox 360 for unknown reasons.
- The Spanish Wii release of the game contains leftover data for the Krusty Krab and Bikini Bottom levels, found in the PSP version, and are mostly as intact and playable as they were there. Given their inclusion in the PSP version and appearance in some trailers, they must have been cut late into development, as the PSP version is based on an earlier console build of the game. The Talent Show level is almost exactly like the PSP version, with a few small differences. The Krusty Krab level is almost entirely different.
