SpongeBob Pantaloni Pătrați (formerly known as Buretele Bob Pantaloni Pătrați during the first two seasons) is the Romanian dub of SpongeBob SquarePants. The dub originally ran on Boom Smarty in Romania for two seasons, from June 15, 2008 to sometime in 2009. Once Nickelodeon launched its Romanian audio track, the dub began airing there on February 10, 2010. It airs on Nicktoons since April 1, 2019. The first eight seasons have also aired on Pro TV.

The first two seasons of the dub were initially produced by Empire Video Production, and this version infamously aired on both Boom Smarty and Pro TV during the 2000's. Seasons 3, 6-7, and 13 episodes of season 8, were then produced by Mediavision; both studios rarely dubbed any other Nickelodeon content, other than Blue's Clues by the latter. More commonly, Fast Production Film dubbed most of seasons 4-5, one episode of season 6, 10 of season 8, the complete seasons 9 and 10, and the majority of season 11. Audio Design Digital Art began dubbing the series starting the last three episodes from season 11; in addition, they have also dubbed the second half of season 3, and season 4 episodes from "Fear of a Krabby Patty" to "Funny Pants" to complete the dub.

Seasons 3, 4 and the Empire Video Production-dubbed seasons hadn't re-ran on any channel for a long while. On Nicktoons, three episodes from the second season, one from the third aired during a SpongeBob-themed Christmas marathon on December 14, 2019, and 10 episodes from season 4 aired during some weekend marathons in April 2021. Later, on May 26, 2022, these seasons began airing regularly.

Notes

• In the Empire Video Production seasons, the opening theme is fully dubbed. Afterwards, only the segment where the Painty the Pirate asks the kids if they are ready is dubbed.
• In the episode "Earworm", the singer of the Musical Doodle song is muted, though SpongeBob still sings the lyrics of it.

Errors

• In "Neptune's Spatula", when King Neptune holds the clouds and shows Tom Kenny taking a shower, his voice is muted.
• In "Band Geeks", Larry the Lobster's voice is muted when he says "Practice begins tonight. 8:30 sharp."
• In the episode "Something Smells", in the scene where Spongebob salutes a Building, the Audio of the Building sliding away is muted.
• Again in "Something Smells", in the scene where Spongebob salutes a Building, there is a line from Patrick "Nici Eu" which is the translated version of "I don't either" gets repeated which might be the reason for the last error.
• In "Boss for a Day", Mr. Krabs' voice is muted when he says "What is it, girl? What do you smell?".
