SpongeBob Tarau Porowhā is one of two Māori dubs of SpongeBob SquarePants. It has previously aired on Nickelodeon.
Broadcast history[]
SpongeBob Tarau Porowhā started airing on Nickelodeon in celebration of Māori Language Week on July 27, 2009 until July 31, 2009. The first 5 episodes were played. One year later, in celebration of Māori Language Week once again, the next 5 episodes were aired from July 26, 2010 until August 1, 2010. Nickelodeon shut down on November 30, 2010, thus no more episodes were aired and the dub was moved over to Māori Television.
