Star Trek: Prodigy is an American animated children's television series created by Kevin and Dan Hageman for the streaming service Paramount+ and the cable channel Nickelodeon.

Star Trek: Prodigy follows the intergalactic adventures of six young outcasts as they escape their cruel past and look to the stars for hope and salvation aboard an abandoned starship.

Release

Star Trek: Prodigy was first released on Paramount+ in the United States, as a Paramount+ Original, on October 28, 2021, with the entire first season. Episodes would slowly be released on Thursdays.

In Canada, the series is available on Crave.

Broadcast

Star Trek: Prodigy made its television debut on Nickelodeon on December 17, 2021, and it would air only a few times before it taken off the schedule. The series then aired on the channel again, this time on July 8, 2022.

In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the series started airing on Nickelodeon on April 25, 2022. A sneak peek aired on the channel ten days earlier, on April 15.

The series debuted on AFN Family on May 27, 2023.
