Tales from the Darkside is an American horror television series created by George A. Romero. The series first started off with a pliot episode that premiered on October 29, 1983. Then later on, the series got picked up as an actual TV program for broadcast and premiered on September 30, 1984 and was airing new episodes until July 24, 1988, across various syndicated networks across the United States. The series aired for a total of four seasons and 90 episodes. and produced by Laurel Entertainment, Jaygee Productions and Tribune Entertainment.
Each chapter is a standalone story and usually has a different ending. The series covers a variety of mystery genres, including science fiction and fantasy, as well as horror, and many episodes feature elements of black comedy.
