Censorship[]

The pride flags can be seen on the right side of the notice board.
A scene displaying LGBT flags and messages (e.g. LGBTQIA+ History Month, Pride awareness, etc.) on the school's notice board resulted in the film being pulled from screening by its distributors in some Muslim-majority countries, including Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates,[6] where homosexuality is illegal.
This also caused the film to receive an 18+ rating on the Flex streaming service in Russia, which hosts the unauthorized Russian voice-over by TVShows. The dissemination and promotion of LGBT content is prohibited by law in Russia, where the international LGBT movement has been designated as an extremist organization, although homosexuality was decriminalized in 1993.
While there have been no known verified reports, the film was reportedly pulled from screening in Vietnam due to backlash towards Jackie Chan's participation. The Hong Kong-born actor has, according to some Vietnamese, expressed support for China's nine-dash line, a claim which Chan has never publicly made explicit.[7]
Despite this, the film still received Arabic, Malay and Vietnamese dubs, with the the latter releasing on iTunes and the Google Play Store in November 2023 and the Malay dub airing on HBO in Malaysia in March 2024.
